CITB Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
This course is for first line managers – those who have or are about to acquire supervisory responsibilities. It provides an introduction to health and safety, welfare and environmental issues for those requiring an understanding of their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities. It will provide a sound knowledge base to enable them to give valuable assistance in safely managing a construction site. This course is intended to give site supervisors a clear understanding of how health and safety affects their role and the practical steps they can take to ensure a safe site.
The one-day SSSTS Refresher course will reinforce and update your knowledge and understanding of your legal responsibilities regarding health, safety, welfare and environmental issues. This 1 day course is essential to keep the SSSTS valid and must be retaken every 5 years.
CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
This industry-recognised course is ideal for companies who need to meet the ever-increasing demand for evidence of sound health and safety management on site. The course will give you an understanding of your key responsibilities and accountability for site safety, health, welfare and the environment, to enable you to provide healthy and safe working conditions for everyone on site.
The refresher course is for delegates who have previously passed the full SMSTS course or subsequent refresher course and can provide proof of attendance. This 2 day course is essential to keep the SMSTS valid and must be retaken every 5 years.
CSCS Health, Safety & Environmental Test
This is more commonly known as the “touch screen” test. We can provide all tests including Operatives, Managers And Professionals (MAP) as well as the specialist tests. Although we usually tie the operatives test into a package with the CITB Health and Safety Awareness Course (to obtain the CSCS Labourers Card), please contact us with regard to any of the other tests to see if we have a test machine available. We can often accommodate short notice and “walk in” tests.
